This particular rug is all handmade by Afghan refugees in the surrounding villages of Peshawar, the Capital of N.W.F.P., Pakistan which is bordering Afghanistan. They use all-natural fibers, soft, clean, and finest neat shiny organic wool on pile with vegetable dye in construction of the piece. The rug has antique look full of life and character similar to those original 18th-century rugs, using most up-to-date happy decorative colors full of life.
This hand-knotted rug is new, has never been used, full wool pile, clean, and in perfect condition.
